I'm often asked, "What spot do people ask you to organize the most?" And though the desk might not top all others in numbers, it is the place at which most clients want to begin. They seem to intrinsically know that when you hold control over your paper flow you invite in an orderly rhythm and immediately gain more time. With this desk space we purged old papers, set up a new file system, created locations for active work to live, and organized the many office supplies in an intentional and more aesthetic way. And we only used what was already in the home.
